Trinity Lutheran Church Women

All women are invited to participate in the many activities of the TLCW. Our women of the church are a continued blessing to the operation of TLC. Your time and talents are most welcome!

TLCW Circles meet the third Tuesday (some Saturdays) of each month at 1 p.m. for Bible Study and Fellowship. From Lefsa Making to Love Day, the energy flowing throughout TLC is generated by the enthusiasm and joy with which our church women approach any project.

Many beautiful quilts, lovingly made by TLC women, are sent each year to Lutheran World Relief and local family charities.

Lutheran World Relief Support-
The first of November, we packed and shipped 119 school kits, 49 health kits and 36 layettes to Lutheran World Relief. This added up to a total of 331 pounds! We received many boxes of school supplies from Lutherhaven, so we shipped more school kits than we have ever done at one time in the past. Now we need to replenish some supplies for the next shipment. We need someone to come down on Tuesday to cut school bags, people to sew the bags, and we are also in need of infant fowns or sleepers and receiving blankets for the layettes. Used gowns and blankets that are clean and in good shape are okay - they do not have to be new. We ship to Lutheran Word Relief in May and Novermber, and these kits go to whereever they are needed around the world. Thanks to all of you who have helped in any way, as this is such a worthwhile project. Thanks to Ken Bailey who hauls all these heavy boxes to Spokane for us.
