More About Pastor Ann
Pastor Ann Frerks was ordained to the Ministry of Word and Sacrament in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America on January 15, 2000, having been called to serve as Pastor at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Cheney, Washington.
A graduate of Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota, ordained ministry is her second career. She previously worked in the nursing field primarily in long-term care.
Pastor Ann is married to David, a building contractor. They have three grown sons. Kevlin, the oldest lives in Rochester, Minnesota with his wife Janice and three children Joshua, Bella Maria, and Samuel. Son Rick lives in Minocqua, Wisconsin with his son Charlie. Pat, the youngest of the boys lives in Cheney with his wife Colleen and sons Patrick and Daniel.
Pastor Ann was originally from the Midwest living in Chicago, Illinois; Winneconne, Wisconsin; Minocqua, Wisconsin and St. Paul, Minnesota. Her internship year was spent at Grace Lutheran Church in Wenatchee, Washington. It was there that she and Dave fell in love with the Northwest. They are delighted to be at Trinity in Coeur d’ Alene and look forward to many years here.
Hobbies include quilting, playing piano, reading, camping and walking. She looks forward to getting to know the community and its people.
