Director Susie Freligh brings a wealth of early child care experience to TLC Learning Center. A native of Coeur d'Alene, Susie has a degree from North Idaho College in early childhood education. She has spent over 10 years in the childcare field - from teacher's assistant, teacher, supervisor and now director. Married for 8 years with no children, Susie reports, "I love working with children. I can't see myself doing anthing but working in a preschool environment."

Our Teachers

The rest of our energetic staff oversees or assists in one of four busy classrooms: Challengers (3 - 4 years), Cruisers (2 to 3 years), Waddlers (1 to 2 years), or Infants (6 weeks to 1 year). Each brings a background in early childhood education, some have advanced degrees and are either certified in Early Childhood Education (CDA) or are training for a CDA. Our staff frequently participates in child care workshops and committees. All are trained in CPR and First Aid and have had criminal background checks.
